    I'm so happy for Quintana.

I wanted him to win because some clowns here thought Williams was invincible.
Quintana read Williams like a book. His reflexes were top notch and I loved the way he lured in Williams and countered him with a wicked left hand, cutting him in both eyes.

    Ah sweet victory.

I agree, awesome for Quintana. You can't help but feel good for this guy. The guy works at a gas station (or used to not too long ago) and competes at this level. And now is a well deserving CHAMPION!!!

I thought Williams was invincible too. Quintana was absolutely BRILLIANT. beautiful moment to see him get his just decision. Lederman musta been on a payroll or something. if they robbed QUINTANA there should ahve been a riot.

touching to see the son crying and the wife so joyful. great boxing moment, very happy for Mr. INDIO CQ too.

That's another Puerto Rican world champion..

That country never fails to produce world champions, damn.

          Quintana can definitely box.

I feel the same as the topic creator! I was rooting him on for the whole fight. It was amazing how many times he connected those overhand lefts...I thought that Paul would have an answer for that but he didn't. The cut that he got on his right eye was nasty by the end of the fight.

During that fight, Quintana looked great. I'm happy for him!

Yeah, it was a gutsy performance by Quintana from start to finish. Despite his success through the early rounds, I kept feeling that he was going to tank and get KO'd by sheer exhaustion. He seemed pretty winded (for a reason) for many of the rounds, but he kept going like a real champ. Quintana's going to have a hard time keeping the belt IMO, but I'll be rooting for him. I agree that HBO did a great job capturing the emotions of his family. Almost made me cry.
