    Is Berto Ready For Quintana?

No one has talked about this yet. They put Berto & Williams on the same card but I dont think anyone felt that they were setting up a Berto-Williams fight anytime soon. Now however, do you think it could be a setup for a Quintana-Berto fight? I would love to see that. If Im Berto's people I wouldnt do it though because I just dont trust putting young guys in the ring with Southpaws. However, it may be a long time for Berto gets a shot in this deep division and Quintana does seem like a good matchup for him. His people probally also feel like they could duplicate Cotto's style when he beat Quintana.

Tell me if you think Berto's ready for this fight and then tell me who you think would win

Maybe, but it wouldn't be the highest risk fight for Berto. I don't see him taking a bad beating if he loses. They both have Lou DiBella as their promoter, so it could be made.

With Quintana winning maybe Berto will get the chance to fight him for the title. Tonight though Quintana looked great and used good movement to land his punches and not get hit. Berto would have a tough test and I would probably have to go with Quintana if they were to fight soon.

I think so,Berto has snap, and power, and he can fight the full 12 rounds,Quintana gets tired easily, with Bertos stamina i could see it costing him,Berto is a powerful welterweight, styles make fights, and i could see Berto winning,he can find the target against Quintana better then Williams did just because of the way he fights and the way he sets his punches up,u hardly see him miss a punch

I think Berto needs about another year and 3 or 4 fights to be ready for a title shot. He looked good tonight, nice jab, very good hand speed, good combinations, but his defence needs some work. Plus he needs some better competition.
