Quintana earned the victory. He landed the better punches all night and was usually getting in first on most exchanges. He worked his game plan all night and even though he got tired he got the second wind and won some last crucial rounds. After this Cotto's victory or Quintana looks even better.

I had it 115-113 only for the fact that Quintana got tired, because other than that he was winning pretty easily I thought. Somehow he kept up his movement when it looked like he was fading. That's what won the fight, and it's why I've always wondered about why Williams is supposed to be Mayweather's biggest threat.

I had quintana winning 116-112 and he was winning rounds by completely outclassing Williams and landing every other punch flush.

Now its time for Paul to move up,he was so sloppy,he weighed in at 168 or something, thats crazy

I thought Paul was the welterweight who had the best shot at beating Floyd, because of how much punches he threw and his chin, but Quintana shown how to box him,it helped him that Williams barely threw close to 70 punches a round,i think if that was Floyd vs Williams,Floyd would have put on a Diego Corrales type of clinic

Harold was terrible tonight. Carlos won --- easy.

lol yeah. I certainly never bought into that type of hype.

It's one thing to look good against a stationary target like a blown up Mitchell or Tony.........but Quintana totally exposed Williams. He showed that Williams doesn't have the greatest coordination, and certainly would struggle against another slick type boxer who uses angles.

Just curious what fight Lederman was watching. 4 rounds in the middle in a row to Williams and then the last two to Williams. Anyway, I had it 115-113 for Quintana, he landed tons of huge shots and was far more accurate with his punches. Paul didn't even throw half of what he usually does and didn't look like he wanted the fight.
