You Can't Have It Both Ways

I hear so many people talk about fighters should fight for their legacy and that some fighters are all about the money, you hear this alot when people talk about Mayweather. Then on the other hand when a fighter turns down a fight that was going to pay him more money the same people say a fighter took a fight for less money. I hear this with Mosely not signing for Mayorga, which would pay him more possibly than a Judah fight. So which is it folks, why complain when a fighter seeks the highest possible money fight but when he doesnt why complain about that fighter not taking the highest money.

Great point. Now Shane is ducking Mayorga because Mayorga pays the most money and Shane didn't take the bout?

He is not. Sugar Ray Robbinson was. But he sure is up there with him skillwise. Acomplishmentwise pbf is not and never will be top 5 nor will any other fighter be, because boxing is so much about promotion and these guys take one entire year to make 2 fghts, sometimes just one, even when they are young (Williams fought once in 2007)

You make alot of great point but we all know people pick and choose the boxer they all like to critise, especially mayweather..If he choose to fight for example Baldomir for the legacy (Undisputed WW champion/8millon$ supposely) over money Margarito (Supposely 8million $/WBO) he would get slated for it but if another fighter does it then the fighter is doing so for legacy..
