As mentioned in other threads i've studied several styles of filipino martial arts since i was young and train with semi-pro mma guys. I been around the **** so long that I have a story about my buddy's uncle being the only dude to ever KO Cung Le. Lucky 4 him it was sparring and he gets to keep his undefeated record in professional fighting.Comment

Yes im flip. why do you think i post in all the pinoy threads?? Yes i've studied all those but mostly focus on 3 styles
Mano Mano - literally filipino boxing
Sikaran - depending on the style can look similar to capoeira or tae kwon do
Dumog - a real dirty way of grappling that i've been called a ****ing cheater 4 going 4 the fancier stuff.Comment

i didn't know you were pinoy too. i guess i don't pay attention. i just go from thread to thread posting ****** , sarcastic comments. ha ha haYes im flip. why do you think i post in all the pinoy threads?? Yes i've studied all those but mostly focus on 3 styles

mano mano means hand to hand right?
never heard of sikaran and dumog but i left pinas after 1st grade.
never really got into martial arts. i follow it. i did a little karate and tae kwon do when i was a kid but i never got hooked.
i did some mat work with my friends wrestling club at cs fullerton but i just wanted to try out the moves i learned from bjj books and instructionals. wanted to go to machado jiu-jitsu but didn't want to waste the tuition cause i know i'm not dedicated enough.
the basics i learned are enough to get me through in most of my streetfights.Comment

You should read up on dumog if you thought bjj was aight. You'd love how cheap and dirty it is. In MMA guys usually take each other down with a double leg shot. In dumog, a shot is me stepping on your lead foot so you cant sprawl then just bullrushing you. Hehehei didn't know you were pinoy too. i guess i don't pay attention. i just go from thread to thread posting ****** , sarcastic comments. ha ha ha
