Froch Vs Inkin Live on ITV1

The Super Middleweight eliminator fight between Carl Froch and Denis Inkin is to be show live on ITV1 on March 29th. Now that ITV has no longer got an exclusive deal with Frank Warren they can now start bidding on fights from other promoters.
Hopefully this will be the start of a lot more boxing on ITV.

This is a huge opportunity for Froch. If he can get the win, and look impressive in doing so, i'm sure ITV will stick with him for the title shot he should receive. Boxing on terrestrial tv can only be a good thing for the sport, but i'm not sure whether this fight will signal an attemt by ITV to show more boxing on TV or will just be a one off.

all depends on his performance and how interested people become in him. There is a school of thought that all he has to do is win and he'll stay on the channel, they need more fighters given Calzaghe and Enzo going to setanta. As long as they have Khan they will need to be able to show other brits also.

I think this is a bs fight, because Carl Froch will win it. He should fight someone like Kessler, Bute, Bika, not fighters link inkin. Denis Inkin isn't ****, he beat a bunch of nododies for the most part, so of course froch should be ridiculously favored to win this fight. Biggest name on inkins's resume is Mario Veit and thats about it
