    Rematch between Liles/Littles

What can you all tell me about it? Someone put it on their list of best/most important fights since 1990.

Also, why did two guys from the US do battle in the UK?

Who televised this one by the way?

I don't remember much about this match, but I'm pretty sure it was a Don King fight on Showtime. Can't imagine what made it that important.

      Well they fought twice...

The rematch ended in the third round by TKO for Liles... Littles won the first one by decision.

I hadn't previously heard of either of these guys before that was mentioned to me (even though Liles beat Michael Nunn before the rematch).

It must have been exciting as ****.

Those two were very good amateurs who had wins over Roy Jones and McClellan. They fought each other in the amateurs a few times and had victories over each other. They were considered very good propspects when they turned pro.

it was one of the great short fights in history.

definitely worth watching. a foul-fest with both guys getting dropped and hurt, and ending in a beautiful one punch KO.

It was on Showtime, on the undercard of Hamed-Alicea.
