Please don't compare Mayweather to Duran.

Duran beat Iran Barkley at SMW.

Yeah I know Iran Barkley is an alltime great. lol lol

I dont even consider Barkley as a great fighter he was known more then a journeyman before he happen to upset Hearns twice, he just had his number. Who else did Barkley ever beat?

Doesn't mean anything though, does it? Or are those fighters ATG's because they beat them?

Let me understand you. Mayweather > Duran?

            -edit-

            Btw your examples are horrible.

No but Douglas > Tyson and Baldomir > Judah

also Joppy > Duran and Barkley > Hearns

but seriously I just cant believe you used the Barkley arguement for Duran. And Duran > Mayweather but your arguement for Duran was pretty weak. Why not talk about his win over Leonard or a very close loss against one of the greatest middleweights of all time in Hagler?

I think he's trying to say that he beat a solid fighter at SMW, who was waaay above his natural weight. Not that he beat an ATG.

Because he beat Barkley at 168 pounds.

What I can't believe is that you brought up Ali's LAST FIGHT as if him losing to Berbick was the same as Barkley losing to Duran. You also brought up Durans LAST FIGHT as if Duran losing to Joppy was the same as Barkley losing to Duran. You picked the worst possable examples to make your point.

When Hearns lost to Barkley he was basically in his prime. Same as when Barkley lost to Duran. Barkley was in his prime. How is this anything like Joppy beating a 69 year old Duran or Berbick beating a 103 year old Ali?
