Floyd jr fighting Oscar again automatically puts him down on p4p list.

i still dont understand this... he just knocked out a 43-0 hatton? 8 weeks ago? were already demoting this guy? im tired of the weight excuse... that was a great win.. and by knockout... already tryin to take it from him... hes still undefeated, and nobodys gone thru the weight classes the way he has... he should remain #1... if he doesnt fight a legit top 10 fighter after de la hoya.. THEN he should be moved down...

he has proven, he is the #1 fighter... when roy jones, sugar ray leonard, lennox lewis, bert sugar, george foreman, oscar de la hoya, bernard hopkins, shane mosley, miguel cotto, buddy mcgirt have ALL been quoted saying, Floyd reallyis the best p4p fighter right now.... then HE IS... there word has way more meaning, nobody knows the fight game more than all of them, and they all recognize floyd as the best right now...

Marco vs pacman 2 was more exciting then oscar vs floyd jr. I like pacman cause he wants to give the fans what they want, just like my boy Erik morales.

and marco didnt come to fight he was on his bike.

If Floyd is only fighting once this year like he said he was gonna do, he shouldn't be #1 on the p4p list. but I don't have any problem with him fighting DLH again. I mean, people say he should be fighting cotto again but I don't think cotto is at the level of DLH. If mayweather does fight cotto and wins, ppl will pick another fighter for him to fight and say that cotto was always a mismatch and other bull****. I think the only fighters that could give floyd problems right now are DLH, Mosley, Williams and Forrest(I'm not saying that any of them would beat him cuz they wouldn't). Even though I think Cotto-Mosley was a draw, Mosley is the greater mismatch for Mayweather because of his reach, speed and power.

In my opinion, Floyd should be drop to number 3 spot and let Pac and Joe take the top 2 spots... I can see a lot of criticisms towards Floyd this year..

Cotto is fighting the winner of Cintron and Margarito and Mosley will possibly fight Judah as well as Williams and Clottey are still there..

Pac is fighting the best in his division as well as Joe fighting the best super middleweight out there and climbing up to fight Bhop.

The welterweight is fully loaded with great fighters of Cotto, Mosley, Williams, Margarito, Cintron, Clottey but he is fighting Hatton and having a rematch with Oscar and a possible rematch with Hatton in early 2009?

IMO, He should be stripped of being the number 1 pd for pd and pressure him to fight Cotto and other 147 out there and having a rematch with De la Hoya and maybe a rematch again with Hatton in 2009 is full of crap... He only fights for money..

I agree and its funny how floyd jr fans said the pacquiao vs barrera fight was boring...when pacquiao won a wide UD while oscar vs floyd jr floyd jr won a close SD and lost to one judge in that snooze fest.

This goes to show the floyd jr fanatics probally shadow boxing in th emirror picturing floyd jr, and they love the 0, they are the type of people who erase there fight night account when there fighter gets a loss.

they will leave floyd jr like they did roy jones jr when he losses.

they are fake fans they only like floyd jr and no one else.

And Manny has to drop a few too, for taking on an ancient morales after he had already convincingly beat him, the smaller man by two weight divisions in Larios, and the untested Solis....???

You dont drop spots for winning fights.
                    Bottom Line.
If another fighter fights the better opposition, then yes you do.

I think I would agree if I thought that P4P status meant anything but he shouldn't be allowed to hold the linear WBC welterweight title captive for much longer having not fought a ranked welterweight since Baldomir or Judah.
