Juan Diaz is going to be a HOF fighter

I was just thinking about it, and this little fatty picked up his 1st world title when he was 21. Now you could argue his opponent wasnt amazing, but only the best actually pick up a title at that age. thats when Duran got his, Morales got his, Barrera got his, etc.

and this guy has already unified the division, and hes 24! most of the 'prospects' nowadays are 25, and it seems like the average age for fighters is around 30, and look what hes already done at his age.

and this guy fights all the best! and has pretty much dominated every one of his fights. his opponents have all been solid, I would consider them better than a good deal of peoples' defences, but the problem is he lacks a huge name on his record...until he gets to kick Pacquiao's ass. or maybe Amir Khan after Khan gets a little bit bigger, but apparently Khan is already a huge name since he has books in Britain even tho hes not even really that far in his pro career.

this guy doesnt even cut weight, look at that fatty. he could make 130 easy, and possibly be in even better shape. Pacquiao is already weighing more than him on fight night, and hes a weight class under him.

I mean, look at this guy... http://youtube.com/watch?v=_DnZg4_nRvM
he lands 40+ punches a round on most his opponents, and his opponents land like 20% of their punches on him.
If he keeps going the way he is, who knows how far he can go?

Diaz is extremely consistant, I dont think hes going to underestimate Nate.

talk about someone who deserves a title shot, winning two Eliminators in a row. and he beat them both badly, I mean he really beat the stuffing out of Quiles, geez.

I think Juan Diaz has what it takes to be a HOF. And he is certainly off to a great start. However, I don't think he has done enough yet. He needs more "signature" fights. The biggest win he has right now is probably his KO win over Freitas. A win over another highly respected fighter or title holder will take him a step closer.

There's no doubt he's a good fighter and a force to be reckon with. He should be in the p4p top 10 IMO.

Freitas and Julio Diaz are pretty big names for the division he's in. Id say atleast one signature win could put him in the top 10. If Katsidis were to beat Casa or Casa were to win and Diaz convincingly defeated the winner, that would be enough in my opinion to put him there.

Nah I think just one more big name and it would fit him in there.
