How is Jeff Fenech as a trainer?

I've seen him twice, and he seems to offer good advice.

He also was on the training end of 2 KO losses in bouts that I have seen.

    Arce/Hussein I
    Jones Jr./Kelly

Is he like Buddy McGirt, meaning a good trainer who offers great advice to bad fighters for the most part?

I'm not sure how he's doing as a trainer. I know he trained Tyson for McBride, I think he's training Darchinyan.

He's a good trainer with some decent fighters under him, not world beaters but they can do ok - Hussein Bros, Hamden, Darchiniyan.

Its not his training that hurts his fighters its his managment of them, he pads their records with nobodies and then feeds them to champs.

I know when you start out you have to fight easy opponents but then you are supposed to gradually increase their competition, he hasnt done this.
Skinny Hussein fought around 25 fights against nobodies and won them all and then got thrown in with Pacman, then wins another dozen or so fights and gets whipped by Oscar Larios in a tittle fight, same for Hussy, 25 or so wins then first step up is Arce.

Fenech was quoted out here years ago saying that if he can put all his fighters in a position to buy there own house, he has done his job, cant fault him for that i guess
