Joe was the better fighter, but the rumors were definitely there before the fight. If he had surgery then there was obviously something to them.

kessler was brave in the twelfth round against joe, the way he swung for the fences and went for the knockout. We will see what he is really made of in his next few fights. The jury is still out on kessler we dont know how he will handle defeat yet

I think he wil fight Miranda. And win by a KO rather early. I can't see him loosing to Edison. Hes a class above.

Would be for vacant WBO title as well.

Mirandas not nearly as quick or as strong as Kessler. I don't think Miranda wants Kessler, Miranda is a bull****ter and he will duck ppl. He knows he is very beatable since he got ktf out by Pavlik. He can use the excuse that he was weight drained, but thats total bs. If it was really a weight problem issue, why has his past 2 fights been against weak opposition at 168? I thought he was so weight drained, if he was can't he handle himself better at 168? He is a punk

Bring on Calzaghe v Kessler 2.. the first one was a great fight and it sounds as if Kesslers hand was injured as was widely rumoured before the fight.

"Its reported that HBO are trying to set up Mikkel Kessler and Ronald Winky Wright at 168lbs in April with Calzaghe agreeing to drop one of his belts for his now friend Mikkel Kessler"

              The Gaurdian.

But since then i heard Winky say Kessler isnt in his league and does deserve a shot so who knows.

But Kessler is likely to become HBO property so only big names will do.

I'm looking forward to Kessler returning because he is a class act.

As for the Calzaghe fight and the 'rumours', Kessler himself stated that they were only rumours in the post fight interview.

If he did indeed have an injury it didn't show, he was throwing full blooded shots throughout and swinging for the hills at the end.

Mikkel Kessler also said he dosen't care if he has to move up or down in weight to get a fight.
That was on the news yesterday.

But, Manfredo, Miranda, Lacy, Typsko, Pavlik, JT ... Doesn't matter, really.
He'll beat them all, if he is still as good as he used to be. I don't know how he's gonna take defeat, even though he sounds ready.
He said "Maybe people will stop ducking me now that they see I lost a fight, so I'm not Mr. Unbeatable"
I doubt there's any change besides his 0 is gone though
