Calzaghe didn't destroy Kessler (unless winning a competitive decision means destroying these days), what makes you think he would destroy Hopkins, Pavlik and Dawson?
It's not a fact at all.
IMO Calzaghe beats:
Hopkins with a close, ugly, dull decision, simply because of his superior workrate.
Dawson with a decision similar to the Kessler fight. Dawson's speed will trouble him but I'm not sure if Dawson is experienced/tested enough to beat a veteran like Calzaghe. We will see how he performs against Glen Johnson.
Pavlik with a decision but I'm not too sure.
I'll have to wait and see how Pavlik performs against Taylor and how Calzaghe performs against Hopkins. If Calzaghe gets caught with too many of Hopkins' rights, he might have some trouble with Pavlik.
Tarver with a wide decision. Tarver is a counter puncher who can't counter punch because his reflexes are shot.
Johnson with a competitive decision. Johnson has a similar style, he throws punches after punches but Calzaghe has superior skill.
I'm warning you people, the Calzaghe hype train might come into a crashing halt when he fights Hopkins. Not saying he will lose but Hopkins makes good fighters look like s***.
