Welcome mr darkvladimir. Just wondering if you're a black guy who's rooting for wlad. Or maybe a black russian. I say you know your boxing man.

I wish that he would move to focus more on fighting the best fighters out there, instead of the most financially beneficial fighters. I mean, IMO Mayweather beats Cotto, Mosley, Cintron. I just wish he would fight them becuz that would further his legacy and add more great fights with fighters in their prime to his career. All in all, his career has been great, but not as great as it could be becuz of the caliber of fighters he has faced as of late. But, his career isnt over yet and I hope he fights more fighters in their prime so that he can silence the naysayers. Just my 2 cents. I know boxing.

Ha, I like Mayweather just as much as he appears to, but I am realistic and unbiased. I know all fighters strengths and weaknesses.

Since you are not very humble and cautious, since you boast and brag, I want to know some things.

What are the weaknesses of a prime Sugar Ray Leonard and Marvelous Marvin Hagler? (Technically, not physically)

Also, with you introducing yourself with your past posts, and ending every post with "I know boxing", are you trying to get acclaim for your knowledge and skillful writing?
If not, why would you include your past posts in your introduction?

If you are a good writer and "know boxing", don't you think people will notice it straight away and remember you because of it?
Unless you're trying to imprint in people's brains that you "know boxing", what's the point?

I think that you come across as immature because you seek confirmation that you are a good writer and "know boxing".

"If you don't agree with me it means you haven't been listening"
                -That kind of suits you

I really dont boast or brag, and Im sorry you got that impression. Being knowledgeable doesnt mean you're conceited. And I acknowledge that everything I say is my contribution and my opinion, not the word of God.

But to answer the questions you posed, SRL had a small tendency to overestimate his abilities. The main reason he lost to Duran was becuz he standed in and traded with him instead of using his movement, like he did in the rematch. By laying on the ropes and being flat-fooded, against a fighter who excels from that same posture, he put himself at a disadvantage. He also commonly dropped his hands and didnt protect himself, which cost him against Kevin Howard, Camacho, Norris and Lalonde. MMH on the other hand would sometimes not be more offensive. In bouts he lost by close decision, he didnt do enough to pull out the victory. There was never that sense of urgency with him in his fights cuz he thought he was well ahead. Sort of like Winky Wright. He also would rush in with his head out which would make him suceptible to getting hit unnessasarily.

I introduced myself and my past posts so that I can get better acquainted with people on the board and so that everyone can see that Im here to make valid contributions to the board. Im sure people will notice that im knowledgeable when it comes to boxing. I dont seek confirmation in any way, becuz even if u dont agree with me, you can tell by the nature of my posts that im not pulling what i say out of my ass. Just my 2 cents. I know boxing.
