    Welter Weight question

So it seems that Floyd wants cotto to do more fighting b4 he fights him. Will he let/make Cotto fight Paul Williams? If that does happen and Williams wins does he fight Paul Williams? I have a feeling that Floyd does not want Cotto to do anything dangerous and that he intends to fight Cotto after DLH2. Floyd knows Williams would pose a major threat to Cotto, and if Williams beat Cotto. The media would pressure Floyd into the ring with Williams. A complete disaster for Floyd considering the revenue would be much less than a Cotto fight and potentially more dangerous. Any thoughts?

Yeah if Floyd can tell Cotto to do more fighting, Cotto should tell Williams to do more fighting because Williams hasnt fought anyone except Margarito for god sakes.

Good observation. But its quite possible PBF could do what he did with Judah and Baldomir. Which fight Cotto first even though he lost just because of the money Cotto would still bring. Then fight Williams and really retire and never fight again.

I know more than likely that **** wouldn't happen but stranger things have.

I also thought this would happen, if cotto were to fight williams and lose he'd find a reason to fight cotto anyway. But i really think he and his people have made it clear cotto isn't to fight williams. Who knows.

this thread is actually thought provoking on the PBF Welterweight discussion. Yet instead of chiming in, people have decided to open another thread questioning Floyds Resume. Going back and forth on the same ten arguments over and over again.. Sometimes it seems like people are more interested in whining or praising than they are in actual discussion/answers.
