my man's gonna put on a show, and end it with a big finish. what round that will be in is completely up to roy, if i had to guess i might say 6 or 7 but whenever, it will still be roy by ko!

I think you vastly underate GJ, he is a tough guy but I think Jones will box him, if GJ can get him in the inside it could well get be closer than you think.
Jones UD is my prediction but I wouldnt be wholly surprised to see a shock in this one. To say Roy will pick his round is underestimating Johnson. He has got a solid chin has been robbed numerous times through out his career (inlcuding the draw against woods)
Depends on whether RJJ is still suffering from his weight hopping excercises, he hasnt been the same fighter since he went up to heavy and came back down again.
The 2nd fight was just a great punch, but in the first Tarver fight, the movement, speed, reflexes had appeared to have dulled.
If thats the case then GJ is the type of come forward pressure fighter to exploit this. (Also how the eff they ever gave jones the decision in the first tarver fight I will never know, a draw I coudl have stomached but that was crazy bull****)
Johnson is Relentless but not the most skilled of fighters, this is GJ big money ticket he will be looking to put on a decent show here, he isnt coming to to lie down.
Having said that I still expect Jones to box his way to comfortable UD.Comment

This will be an easy night for Roy, as long as the Tarver fight didn't damage his confidence too much.
I said it before....Glenn Johnson is too orthodox, small, & underpowered to bother Roy.
He'll go to Roy, looking to outwork with conventional combos without a whole lot of pop.
Roy will catch him & lay a beating on him.
Roy does not get off with those bursts of combos like he used to....he's more of a potshotter now.
Those potshots will accumulate, & start to hurt Johnson.
Roy in about 6.Comment

It's a proven fact that Roy Jones' combinations take a toll on your with every punch. If Glen sticks to his old ways and keeps taking those shots his corner will put an end to it within 5-7...I say Jones will take the steam out of him by then....but it's boxing, anything can happen.Comment

rip roy jones career. Great as it was.
should have had the courage of my convictions, Glencoffe was outstanding, Jones sure picked his round alright. To get sparked.
Was worrying for a while though i was concerend that was a real bbad ko, roy should retire now before he gets hurt.Comment
