If Taylor wins on points will he get his pride back?

Taylor's pride is on the line and I think he is going to go all out for the KO early in the fight. I mean of course he wants the win either way but I feel he wont fully be redeemed if he wins on points by sticking and moving etc. Whats everyone think?

I doubt he will go for the KO early seeing that it worked against him in the first fight. But if he wins on points the way that Bernard Hopkins won against Winky, then I doubt he will be given much credit for the win thus, ****ing up his pride game.

If he wins convincingly, there's no reason why people shouldn't give him full credit for it.

Not really. It seems lately whenever he wins on points against someone his own size, it's disputed.

He'll get respect for a clear points win, but he'll only have to do it again in the rubber match.

All he cares about is winning. Looking for a KO, more times than not, will lead to you not getting it. Win first, a KO is just a bonus.

Im thinking hell go for the KO mostly because he doesnt listen to his corner and usually seems to let his pride rule over good sense.

to gain his self sense of pride back he may go for the KO and could doom himself in doing so, but personally i think he can gain some pride back by just winning on points, he obviously wants to knock pavlik out but to win on points would restore some level of pride, it also depends on how hard he would outpoint him, if its a SD and close on the cards he may feel he has more to prove, if its a UD i'd say he could effectivly regain most if not all of his pride

I think he will be okay with a points win to be honest.

he needs to win with no dispute.. he either needs to knock him out or win an unquestionable decision
