Floyd already has a win over Oscar
    Cotto already beat Shane
Margarito already beat Cintron (And IMO will beat him again, though perhaps not as brutally one-sided)

So let's keep those intact, and have Williams face Clottey. IMO, Williams win a decision there.

From there, it will basically boil down to Floyd fighting either Cotto or Williams in the final, and right now, I believe he beats both, though has a far more difficult time with Williams. Not to say that Williams is better than Cotto, mind you. In fact, I'd probably pick Cotto to barely edge out Williams in a head-to-head matchup. But from a styles perspective, I can see Floyd struggling far more with Williams than with Cotto. I'd also venture to say a Mayweather-Williams fight would be akin to watching paint dry.

** This year, Paul Williams would beat all comers. I suspect that he cannot maintain weight beyond this year.

Oscar would be the first to lose, passing out on the scales. I'd sub him with Berto. Basically it boils down to Floydy vs Williams, Margarito vs Cotto if I was matchmaker, so guaranteed to come down to the final as boxer vs puncher.

Wow. I can see a few on that list but even the unproven Josh Clottey?

The Oscar that fought May 5th could beat everyone on that list but Mayweather. I think Margarito and Williams are way overrated. Cotto is the best in the divison, and Oscar would test his weak chin.

that's assuming Oscar can squeeze down to 147 (and also assuming that the old Top Rank scales wouldn't be available for the weigh-in)

Thats ture, he hasnt made 147 in years. But everyone on that list would love to jump to 54 fight him anyway.

It's just my opinion, but I don't think too much of DLH as a fighter anymore. Clottey's style would bother him (and almost anyone else) a lot.

Do you think Top Rank cheated the scales for the Golden Fishnet, especially early on when he was fighting below 140?

Top Rank was raided and scale-tampering was one of the charges.

I wonder if castillo benefited from it.
