Secondly, the first fight was a close one. I got more respect for Jermain fighting Pavlik than I had with his last 3 fights combined (Spinks, Ouma, and Wright, even though I thought Winky beat him).

In comparison, Jermain is a much more sound fighter than Kelly but I think a lot of what he does in the ring derives from his athletic ability. Similar to a Floyd Mayweather or Roy Jones Jr (though there's no comparison in terms of talent). But Kelly is just a better fighter because he never doubts himself. Jermain took it to heart when everybody in the sport started hating him, and you simply cannot be that weak willed if you're in the fighting business IMO.

The second fight will probably be almost a mirror image of the first, Jermain will probably drop Kelly again. But the difference is Pavlik knows how to dig down and Jermain hasn't shown that ability at all yet.

I'm just hoping that when Kelly wins he'll get full credit for not only his performance, but for his heart. Because all I hear from most people is that Pavlik "got lucky" or something to that effect, and to me it's just bull****. He showed the heart of a Champion and that's what matters most to me.
I can dig it " The_Bringer". I'm one of the guys that became a Pavlik fan after he fought and beat my boy Miranda(i'm not on his bandwagon but I got mad respect for Pavlik). So I'm by no mean is trying to take **** from Pavlik but I cant not just forget how Tayor was outboxing whenever he decide to stick and move. Like I said it boils down to one's opinon and views on the fight.

They both had their moments in this fight. IMO I think we will see a different Taylor. I'm not saying that Pavlik hasnt improve because we all know that he is going to be better in this fight which I will not deny that but I cant dismiss the fact that Taylor was beating Pavlik to the punch during most of the exchanges they had. Lets not forget Taylor was standing toe-to-toe with Pavlik and winning some exchages. (due to his speed) So I'm not going to ignore that.

With that said, I think we will see a different Taylor because he knows Pavlik will knock him out if he was to follow his same performance in the first fight.

I agree. as good as this fight is, it doesnt deserve ppv. especially since no titles are on the line. but, if taylor did win, and the two had the third fight, that fight would be worthy of ppv.

regardless i'm buying it. cant wait for the fight.

But people, are claiming that Taylor is no chance in this fight. Which is honestly a joke.
I see Taylor winning this and rather easy.
funny because most of the things i have seen here are saying taylor is the favorite, and pavlik is the underdog!

              A very close fight.

I'm looking so much forward to see the rematch, it will indeed be one hell of a war. lets just hope it can live up to their first meeting, since that was an excellent fight and it's hard to do a follow up that would be just as good.

Both Pavlik and Taylor are the future of boxing. This could end up being a triology that HBO will document 20 years later as a classic. I'm picking Taylor to get his **** together this time and win a UD althought not a easy one.

Then we will have ourselfs a triology down the line for all the marbles.

This is Taylors shot at redemption and he's a man of destony in my eyes, He beats Hopkins on what many call gift decsions back to back, he then takes on Winky wright and receives a draw comes right back and fights Ouma then Spinks, losses to Pavlik and what does he do, he fights him again like the warrior he is, Jermaine is definetly in for a hell of a fight but you saw it the second round he had his belt won but ultimately gave-up it wont happen again i guarentee!
