I dont see what the big deal is...........

about Pacquiao. He beat a washed up Erik Morales that was coming off losses to Barrera and Z Raheem, and he beat up a washed up Barrera that was coming off of a win over Morales and 2 fights with Rocky Juarez (and everyone knows that B lost the first one). On top of that, the draw for Pac-JMM should have been a decision for JMM. He is not a breat boxer and only has a right jab and straight left, although it is powerful. He has a strong punch, but can someone please tell me why you all are putting him #2 p4p when he really isnt all that?

you can nitpick other boxers in the p4p list as well and im sure you'll find faults on all of them, even w/ floyd. his skill level might not be as high as floyd's, but what he does, he does best and very effectively. funny how ppl would criticize his skills, but all the great boxers in his recent fights weren't able put him down.

I dont think hes overrated, but its true, beating a shot Morales who came off a beating from Zaheer, and then beating him again when Morales didnt belong in the ring doesnt make him p4p #2,beating a way past his prime Barrera in a rematch who came of a loss to JMM,and the fashion in which he did it in was a POOR performance,i remember people where dissing Miguel Cotto for backing away from Mosley in the last 2 rounds,Cotto was getting so much hate, but what bout Pac who barely threw a combo against Barrera?

Not to mention his struggle against Larios, who got knocked out by Linares with no problem

Pac is a great fighter no doubt, hes top 5 p4p material, but how people say he should be ahead of Floyd? No way

I respect that but he hasnt really fought anybody in my opinion. he beat washed up fighters and got a draw with one that should have been a loss. I would put him in the p4p top 10 but Im not sure if I would put him top 5

5 Wlad because wlad has beat all comers and is THE HW champ (some people might not agree)

3 division champ, ranging from 112 to 126 (and now challenging for the title @ 130).

i'll agree that the morales wins somewhat overblown as pacquiao is the only win for morales since the summer of 2004.

the first barrera fight was great as pacquiao was moving up in weight and destroyed a great fighter who was ranked in the top 5 p4p at the time.

pacquiao also beat world titlists like ledwaba and sasakul who were top guys in their weight division @ the time.

Funny how nobody was calling Erik Morales "shot" when he beat Pac in thier first match, but as soon as Pacman comes back and beats him in the rematch, and in the rubber match, Morales is all of a sudden "a shot fighter"

EM didnt get a beating from zaheer, he lost but its nowhere near a beating than what pac brought to him. i had MAB winning against JMM if the KD was counted, draw if not, and i think a lot of ppl here had it the same. what's so POOR about PAC winning a more convincing fight over MAB than when MAB lost a close decision to JMM? MAB didn't want to engage against PAC, he showed up only to survive. He knew better, he engaged more w/ JMM than PAC, coz he's afraid to go down. you're just used to watching pac putting down his opponents.

struggle w/ larios? sure he got caught once during the 3rd, which fighter hasnt? but all the rounds were convincingly his. how did it become a struggle when he put down larios twice? and the fight was in his country and the more rounds it takes, the more money from advertisements it'll rake in, can you say millions in between rounds? but then again you're just used to him knocking down foes.

I think Pac is a good fighter but can be beat by a boxer like JMM. I just don't know if JMM has past his prime to be able to do it. I think if Pac came about 5-7 years earlier, he wouldn't have been as dominant.
