I don't think he needs much more exposure. He draws packed crowds in MSG, I'm sure he can do the same anywhere else, he has to be one of the most popular fighters out there.

Because, as happened last time I questioned you, you have made me look foolish.
What's wrong with my type of threads?
They've got life to them, DW421.
Don't bother to think either. Keep firing from the hip. Good stuff.

If he wants to start a promotional company, he should do that.
If he wants to fight, he should fight.
It's just kind of ****ty that he wants another De La Hoya payday... he already got one.
I am not happy about this DLH rematch. However, contraire to widespread belief, I don't believe he'd lose to any of the welters right now. BUT, he;s a big draw, as big as DLH which has been proven. He could fight any contender, have a great build up, sell out with an explosive fight. This DLH fight is all for the money, the drama, etc.
I will say one must consider all of the business ventures the boy has. Plus, he has 4 children and probably more somewhere else, baby's mother's, Mom, Sister, Grandma, Uncle Roger and Lehkei, Leonard, "Yes Men" posse etc. He is taking care of all of them.
He may have a lot of money, but keeping company like that it's imperative you don't go broke.
Not making excuses for his fighting Oscar again because IMO, it's shameful. Just pointing out the fact that we don't know exactly why he feels the need to fight only if the money's right now. We're not sure of his dreams or wishes. Not sure if he just has a fear of being poor etc.
I don't agree with his decision but I understand it from a financial sense.

He's one of my favorite fighters, without a doubt.
I'd just rather see him fight Cotto or Williams, he had his big paydays, not like these other 2 names I just mentioned wouldn't bring in some cheddar.
He should just look to build up his legacy in his last couple of the fights, it would shut up his critics and put him down as one the greatest ever.

However, no one in their right mind and I mean NO ONE is going to turn down a fight they know they can win and a $40-50M payday. People when not in the position love to testify as to what they'd do in said situation.
I'm certain if you were Floyd and were presented with the opportunity to make another $40-$50M fighting DLH, beat him (And your Dad) more convincingly making yourself an even bigger draw to ultimately set up a fight with Cotto (Which is what I think is happening.), you wouldn't do it. You would.
Almost everyone would. Who's gonna sit and say, well I know I could make another $30M if I take the DLH fight, but I am fighting for my legacy so I'll just make $20M and sleep better knowing I fought for legacy only.
PUHLEASE!
As much, Cotto is well prime. DLH is not. He's done after Sep. (Good.) Floyd will be a ***** if come time to face Cotto (With nowhere else to run), he decides to quit boxing. (Seriously, which he has yet to do.) Then, no respect because that would just be bull.

But as a fan, I can't say I agree with him.
So I guess I have mixed feelings about this ****.
