Does anybody know Kelly Pavlik's amateur record? I've heard a few times that he had a very strong amateur background.

I would have thought Tito had more than 25 am fights, he fought and lost to Cuba's Mario Kindelan, as did Miguel Cotto

tito didnt lose to kindelen!! jeez man LOL you cannot believe everything you read on the net. Tito couldnt have fought Kindelen, you have to do the math, you know? Also...FYI...MOST amateur records that you read are NOT accurate, I tell you that for sure.

Take Chad's record for example... I was there for his amateur career. he did NOT have 80 plus wins. He had a very solid record, definitely, but he also hardly fought in the open class before going pro

With about 150 stoppages too iirc. And I don't buy that SRR was 85-0 with I believe like 69 1st round KO's or something weird like that.

Mark Breland supposedly was 110-1 with 70ish stoppages.

Rocky Marciano was like 8-4 or something like that & actually had a amateur loss in between a lapse in his pro career cuz he lied about his name & fought amateur again or something like that iirc. Feel free to fill in the blanks for anyone who knows the full story.

Actor Mickey Rourke was 27-3 (17 stoppages).
