I think Wlad softened up Peter's chin in their fight....getting hit flush that many times by a huge puncher like Wlad can have an effect on you.

If Wlad and Peter ever fight again....Peter will be carried out of the ring in a body bag.

Not sure about that becuase Wlads chin is also a suspect.

Peter's chin wasn't softened, he just hasn't been hit by uppercuts like McCline's before. Uppercut is a great weapon to use against a shorter fighter like Sam Peter.

I'd like him a lot more if he had an L on his record for the first Toney fight.

                no shame in that imo
That McCline was able to hurt Peter suprides me too!! But i guess McClines power is underrated, and at least in the early rounds he can crack if he wants to. Hes an 270 pound big heavyweight!
But the fight didnt change my oppinion that Peter will KO Maskaev.

I think conditioning was why peter hit the deck with mccline. he was only 243 for wlad. I believe he was at least 250 for mccline. he needs to keep his weight under 245 lbs where he's much more effective
