Im not comparing them by what they were hated for, i am comparing them by the same amount of equal hate they got or get regardless of the reason.

There are many Floyd fans in these forums and in general, only some people who hate his fans and his attitude criticize him.

Ali was banned from boxing, stripped off his title and almost thrown to jail.

I don't think the hate can be compared.

did you forget the footwork, the speed the defense the ring smarts and ring generalship. there is more to boxing than just throwing punches. Oh and dont forget you must be physically and mentally strong. you must be a casual fan that doesnt KNOW boxing. Its like George foreman told Larry merchant " you know boxing, but you dont KNOW boxing". There are 3 ways to watch a fight.
1 as a fan
2 Studying the fight and
3 Judging the fight.
But it is obvious your ass doesnt KNOW boxing besides what you read see and by what is told to you by other people.

I don't see the big deal if Cotto makes Floyd work. Hatton made him work and he started catching Hatton time and time again eventually leading to a KO. Floyd can beat you fighting defensively entirely or come out of his shell and throwing combinations. Some of ya'll act like he can't. It gives Cotto a chance but Floyd can still win.

Thank you. While most fighters come with an A,B,and C plan Floyd has a plan for A-Z and Z-A. He fights going forward and backward unlike cotto that can only fight going forward. What happened when mosely put pressure? Cotto looked confused and out of his element moving backwards.

You might like Floyd but other people don't like people showing off everytime they get when they aren't so well off. Ive acctually met Floyd a few times, and the guy is a very arrogant prick. He talked down to all the people who were with him, but I always watch his fights.

like i said his footwork speed smarts ring generalship clean effective punches and physical and mental strength is still there. the only thing he is lacking in is the power dept. but he still has decent power.
