I went to Philboxing for the scores, one story has link to an Australian site.

I did not see it. Usually it will be downloaded in Pac's forum but its not yet. Have to wait a day or 2 for download.

I have just to go by the scorecard of the member who did the round by round.

As far as fans, yeah it is a disgrace for doing that. But it happens in other parts of the world.

In Brazil, fans were throwing things at the ring during a vale tudo match.

In Malaysia, during a basketball game, the fans were throwing at the Philippine team, including chairs. I believed the Malaysian team were losing.

Like one member posted, even in Mexico it happens too. Here in the US too, that **** happens.

There's no reason to defend the classless Cebu crowd, but in no way do they represent all of the Pinoys like you ****ers are trying to imply. You gotta remember how well-respected Larios was in the Philippines.

          LOL at the Mexicans.
Gorres wasn't even fighting a Mexican and here they are throwing hate and racial slurs in this thread.
          WTF is wrong with ya'll.?
PAC retiring all your legends really did some hurting in your mexican pride, huh.
          How sad!

I don't think anyone can deny that Mexico produces a lot of champions, but a lot of you need to stop turning this in to racial wars. Also Philippines is the safest place for a non-Filipino to fight.

What the **** with all the hate in here. Its ****ing boxing. Hating each other because a member is a Filipino, Mexican, Puerto Rican, British, or American; a Pac fan, a JMM fan, a Flody fan, Oscar fan, Hatton fan, Calzaghe fan, Margarito fan.

I am a Pac fan and if he retires from boxing so be it. Will i stop watching boxing? **** no. I was a fan of boxing since i was kid in Philippines. Staying up late to see a fight of Navarette. Seeing replays of fights of the 70's in the ABC wolrd of sports. Moving here in the US, watching some of fights of Mike Tyson. Watching a great fight between Carbajal and Chiquita Gonzales in channel 9. Watching boxing in channel 7. Watching the pre fight show in channel 2(we did not have cable).

Yes Mexico has produced numerous champions and i applaud them for that. But do i start name calling Mexicans if they beat a Filipino fighter, hell no. Did i put down Armenians when Vic got KTFO by Donaire, **** no. Do i hate on Floyd fans if they talk **** about Pac, no.

Most of you members here needs to grow up. You guys are ****ing ridicolous. And they way some of you posts with hate, if there was a riot in a boxing match, i bet you that you would be throwing things in the ring also.

The sports we discuss here is professional boxing. There is nationalism among pro boxers, but they fight for money.

Flame away on my post, I don't give a sh#t.

They weren't throwing bottles because their fighter's getting beaten. It was a bad decision by the ref to call a knockdown and the ref was suspected all along to side with a non-Pinoy being a foreigner himself.

I've seen worse. This was much tamer than what happened in Bowe-Golota etc. What happened in the boxing-gone-crazy vid was much much worse than this. Everybody got hit with chairs and everybody was punching everyone in sight. To think, this happened in a "developed" country.

Vic got the same treatment. He was even surprised at how well he was received in Cebu.

It's just some classless ******s that turn this into a racial issue. This stuff happens in Colombia, Mexico, Australia, and oh I forgot, the US of A.

It was a a disgrace because you're..... Australian? I dunno.

But at the end of the match, even the commentators said Vic won the match, and that Gorres was lucky.

                      Timeline: August 4, 1965
Dateline: Madison Square Garden, New York
Event: Lightweight Non-Title Fight, scheduled for 10 rounds.
Protagonists: Gabriel "Flash" Elorde and Frankie Narvaez

Following the announcement that Flash Elorde had won in two of the three judges' scorecards (identical 5-4-1) while the third judge scored it for Narvaez (2-7-1), spectators begun to throw fire extinguishers, axes, chairs, etc. unto the ring.
The riot snowballed and quickly spread to the streets fronting the "Garden". There was a building construction on a lot accross the street and the mob quickly helped themselves to steel bars and rocks.
