Im blaming the Phillipinos for throwing **** in the ring, coins, bottles. Like Fkn two year olds. Its rediculous. If your unhappy just "boo". Not throw coins in the ring. One coin to the temple and a boxer of judge could have been killed.
Here are a few examples:
When Pac tko'd Morales in their second bout, did anyone see a flying bottle? Even on TV, you must be blind if you did not. I'm sure it did not come from a jubilant Pinoy. What made that person throw a bottle? The fight was resolved already so why do something that might hurt somebody?
When Luisito Espinosa ko'd Cobrita Gonzales right in his own backyard, Team Espinosa feared for their lives. They were lucky to get out of the venue alive. Why did the fans from this country reacted this way? Their boy was ko’d cold, there is no controversy. Maybe they felt that they were shortchanged when the referee did not bother to count.
And what about the non-title fight between Gabriel Flash Elorde and Frankie Narvaez of Puerto Rico held in New York's Madison Square Garden? Elorde won by Split Decision. The decision caused a major riot with thrown chairs, fire extinguishers and fire axes. The rioting later spread to the streets as fans threw bricks from a demolished building across the street.
No, I’m not giving Pinoys any ideas on how to be in the TOP TEN.
It is unfortunate that scenes like this are happening in the SPORTS scene. They did not do it for fun nor just for the heck of it, but something or some incident triggered it.Last edited by Chups; 02-04-2008, 06:43 PM.
