So you're cool with DLH fighting Pacquiao? I mean DLH fought at 130, right?

Anyways... a fighter who started at 130 fighting a fighter who won a heavyweight title...

I see something seriously wrong with that.
      i missed that

oscar never should have started at 130 in the first place ...

hell if they make weight then why the hell not? it happens all the time , people say DLH started out in 130 but he fought b hop at 160 ! if you are a PFP great at some point of your career you should start taking risks IMO , like many fighter already do and did. b-hop just moved up 15 pounds !

DLH was completely dwarfed by Hopkins in their fight and was stopped the first and only time in his career. Hopkins just went up 15 pounds, but he also started his career at LHW, and he was a huge middleweight (in those days at least, they're getting much bigger these days.) The DLH/Pac fight was supposed to take place at 147, 17 pounds higher than Pac had ever fought, and this is a guy who won a title at 112 lbs, not too cool in my book.

he may have been dwarfed but took some of the early rounds and just got hit with a perfect bodyshot.
roy jones was like 190 against a 225 ruiz. b-hop may be big , tarver is a lot bigger.......all im saying a roy jones DLH fight isn't that much of a stretch roy jones startted out at 154 , oscar had great succes at 154 , and besides don't people think roy is past his prime he couldnt stop tito etc etc ..... I would love to see RJJ whoop on him.

cant believe people paid to watch jones toy with washed up lackey no defense trinidad.
                trinidad was pathetic.

Yes we did (asking for DLH), and they said no he does not want to get into the ring with me. I took gambles for the history of game. Why won’t these guys take gambles like I did? These guys call themselves pound for pound this and that, but they aren’t willing to risk nothing. I knew after coming down from heavyweight that I wasn’t right, and I would probably have to take a loss or two, but I went up for the good of the game and for the challenge. Why is he so scared? Why am I the only one who takes these chances for the good of the game? Even if you get your ass whooped, your not losing. Just do it for the cause. (Laughing)…
But they said no regarding De La Hoya, but maybe Hopkins down the road

this iswhat RJJ said !! and he is 100 % correct !
Yeah, Jones is known for taking gambles in his career. The only reason he fought Ruiz is to say he was a HW champion by beating the one of the worst paper champions ever. Then Roy ducked a real gamble by not fighting his mandatory Vitali Klitschko, or challenging Lewis and Sanders.

                    I think that is pathetic.
I don't know why. It's called a payday. He thinks him and Oscar would reak ppv sales so that's the fight he wants to make. It's more of a business move than a boxing match.

I wouldn't mind seeing him fight winky or maybe johnson again at some point.
