tony is good for sure, but the most feared man ****, and some of his overboard huggies have left a bad taste in the mouths of many people around these parts.
Let Margarito Go!

Williams was unbeaten in over 30 fights in over seven years. Not exactly green.
Clottey is the current mandatory contender with an outstanding record, and he didn't beat Margarito who also suffered injuries in that fight. Not a journeyman.
Santos was the reigning 154 lb champion, and obviously not a journeyman.
Basically your argument was full of holes. I guess you think welterweight boxing consists of Floyd Mayweather and a bunch of journeymen and rookies.Comment

Great post.Margarito is a Good Boxer, it's his fans who make him look bad. I doubt Margarito wakes up every morning with the hatred of Floyd because he turned down the 8 mil he offered him. Margarito moved on fought other fighters and probably cares little about Floyd right now..
if Tijuana Tornado, VIVA MEXICO, & an all the other supposed "True Margarito Fans." were true fans They would shut the **** up about Floyd and Focus on Margarito Fighting Cotto, Judah etc..Comment

Williams had over 30 fights against who? Was margarito and still is not his biggest win? I think that classifies as green!Williams was unbeaten in over 30 fights in over seven years. Not exactly green.

Clottey is the current mandatory to whom? Cintron, whose biggest win is against whom? Clottey definitely sound like a journeyman to me
And then u say Santos was the reigning 154 champion...NO, he was titleholder of the weakest belt the WBO. I think your argument is full holes...Comment

Blame Floyd Mayweather for creating the monster that is Margarito. All he had to do was accept a career high payday and expose this guy. What does Floyd do? He goes out and finds easier opponents that don't pay anywhere near what Margarito was offering. He showed that the #1 P4P had fear in his heart. This is all on your boy Mayweather. Why do a lot of people on this site refuse to let Margarito go? Is it a Mexican pride thing, hate for Floyd...what is it about dude?
Since he has called out floyd...what has he done? Disappointment against Clottey, a letdown again against Williams, and amazing pressure against some guy named Golden.
Where was that intelligent pressure in the Clottey fight? Was he trying a different style against Williams?
If Cintron redeems himself and defeats Margarito will yall finally lay him to rest?Comment

I don't think you understand the terms "journeyman" or "green". Either that or you are just using those terms incorrectly just to help make your point. There is no doubt that if you have had over 30 professional fights in seven years you are well past green. And there is even less doubt that if your record is 33-2, with your only losses being a controversial DQ and a title fight loss, you are most definitely not a journeyman. Any further efforts to point this out to you would be a waste of time.Comment

Ok, good point on Clottey. He is not exactly a journeyman. But i have to disagree with Williams. IMO, being green has nothing to do with the amount of fights that you have fought. He could have fought 30 fighters with 30 wins, does that make him a contender. So to me it is not the quanity of fights, but the quality of fights = fighting experienced accomplished fighters.I don't think you understand the terms "journeyman" or "green". Now I think Paul is going in that direction now, but I still consider him green and margarito lost to a green fighter. Margarito always loses when he takes any kind of step forward.Comment
