On the flip side I was always a Judah supporter why I don't know at times but really liked the Zab i saw when he was a focused fighter and knew he had great potential but after many let down and melt downs on his part I'm done.....**** him. He's a wasted talent.

I still don't like Floyd, Never have but I will also admit I have great respect for his skill in the ring and most of the time enjoy his ifghts....but can't bring myself to be a fan of his.....too many other things I don't like about how he carries himself in general.
hey thanks, and thanks or the great post!

Miguel Cotto. I used to dislike him, mainly because I had the wrong impression of him. After I got to see him more and realized he's a pretty humble guy, and of course a great fighter, I became a fan.

Israel Vasquez. This guy is simply awesome to watch.

Kelly Pavlik. Didn't think much of him until he beat Miranda (which is when I became a fan), then after Taylor I knew he was the real deal.

Jermaine Taylor (a little bit). I used to hate him, he pissed me off with his sub-par performances. Then, idk what happened, after his loss to Pavlik I kind of see him in a different light. Funny how that can work.

alfonso gomez has grown on me.

no i dont think he should be fighting cotto based on what hes done, but the fact that he is willing to take a fight in which everyone expects him to get murdered is old school

honestly when i watched the first episode of contender i thought "who is this ***** lookin babyface hes gonna be the first one to go"

he proved on that first season that he was a classic overachiever, if you look at the other guys from the show..... mora, manfredo, brewer on the following season.. gomez has more fight in him than all the other guys combined.

so from all the *******s, all the egos, all the **** talk on that show... the guy who never ran his mouth and worked his ass off has ended up the real winner.

Jermain. I tend to dislike a lot of fighters until they lose.

Hamed was my first idol, that superiority was amazing...after receiving a beating By Barrera i followed barrera until his retirement.., now i think Hamed was overrated, fighting bums unless kelley and 2-3 more and he didnt really never went back to the game after his loss, what he did after Barrera was bull****

Hatton, Floyd, Cotto and "oh my god unbelievable but yes Paulie Malinaggi" are growing on me...but specially in the case of malinaggi...i really hated that guy but now, after taking a beating the way he did against cotto and recompose himself to win the title had gave him some points
