Alot of you guys are acting like Edison Miranda has a million options right now. As it is, Jean Pascal would like to fight him. Not Pavlik, and not Jermain Taylor. A guy in his position has to force his way to a title shot- and a good win over Pascal would be a step in that direction.

ah, the blind hugger. refusing to give an inch and never admitting his fighter is a flawed, primative, one dimensional slugger! the excuses get more and more, and the reasons for the ko loss due to weight drain are becoming a comedy act, and now he states that miranda will ko pavlik at 68! like an additional 8lbs will make miranda superman, and not benefit pavlik at all. ****ing clown! i have to give him credit for defending his boy, but he is a joke around these parts!

Pascal probably saw David Banks hanging in the air by the ropes and had second thoughts of the fight. If they do fight I hope Miranda gives Pascal the Banks.

Miranda's being weight drained against Pavlik could have been an issue, but I think Pavlik would be helped out by the eight additional pounds as well. I mean he's not exactly short and has the frame where a few extra pounds will help him. Maybe the fight would be different, but Pavlik has the style that put Miranda on the backpedal and he showed that he didn't fight to good going backwards. Miranda always has that punchers chance. Against Taylor I could see him beating him, especially since Taylor keeps that left hand low.

HBO is probably giving Miranda a lot better deals than anything ESPN can think of.

As ****** as it may sound I'd prefer too see an Allan Green rematch at 168 after both fighters claim to have had an issue with making weight (what a coincidence right?) and how come Miranda never blamed it on his weight when he knocked out Gibbs and Eastman? Lets be serious, Miranda cant hang with the best of em, he will give em trouble no doubt about that but I predict a move to Light Heavy after someone beats him again at Super Middleweight and he blames it on his weight

lol yeah, didn't anyone else notice how he almost hesitated when Tessitore asked him "you sure you wanna get that ring with that?" and Pascal had that face like trying to avoid saying '**** that!'

Yeah he did about get up, but the ref shouldn't have even been counting. Like Lampley said one time "No count necessary". When he did get up he was stumbling and was in no condition to fight.
