Bottom line is that Virchis is not the guy to give a ****. He just doesnt care who he fights, he'll fight anyone any day and not give a **** if he looses.

Gomez knew he'd be fighting Virchis in an eliminator back in November when it was first ordered by the WBC. He's already had two months to get in shape - but he's been partying in LA during that time instead!
Hopefully he doesn't start demanding that they don't do any drug tests for the fight. lol
Vladimir Virchis is a man of better character and a true warrior - he's probably ready to fight Gomez by now.Last edited by The Hammer; 01-30-2008, 09:18 PM.

We have Vladimir Virchis who started boxing late and never really got to learn boxing technique but through hard work along with his size and power made himself a top heavyweight contender.
vs
Then we have Juan Carlos Gomez who was forced to box as a young kid, had a very successful amateur career and reigned as the cruiserweight champion for years.
The only reason he isn't more known today is because of his past drug use and lack of motivation.
Hard work vs natural talent, toughness vs technique, whatever you want to call it, this is a very good match-up.
