Buzzmaster: Jermain will be here soon, so keep sending in your questions!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
antione atlanta,GA: Jermain do you think it will serve you better to go to the body against Pavlik to take some of his steam away from his punches etc?
Jermain Taylor: I think it will serve me well. He is a big guy, and has a lot of body to hit, and if I take his body away that will help.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
UB/ Michigan: Is Pavlik the Hardest puncher you have ever been in the ring with ?
Jermain Taylor: No. He is more of a consistent puncher, but not a hard puncher. Her is a strong fighter, but he is not the strongest puncher I have faced.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
David (Old Bridge, NJ): If you beat Pavlik in the rematch, who would you like to fight next ?
Jermain Taylor: Anybody. It does not make a difference. I have to focus on Pavlick first though. But I will fight anyone. I never ran from anyone and I am not going to start now.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
David (Old Bridge, NJ): Mr. Taylor, Do you think that if your first fight was at 166 pounds, Pavlik wouldn't have gotten up when you knocked him down early ? Best of luck on the 16th.
Jermain Taylor: I am not sure. If I threw some smarter punches I think I could have knocked him out, but I do not think weight had anything to do with it. Thanks for the support.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kyle (Indianapolis): Who you rooting for in the Super Bowl? Go Giants!!!
Jermain Taylor: I don't watch too many sports on TV
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Court (Little Rock): The last few months, a lot of writers have said that you don't love boxing, and it hurts you as a fighter. How would you respond?
Jermain Taylor: Boxing is a sport that I do. It is my job. I go in there and work hard every day. It is how I feed my family. So who cares if I love it or not.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
josh Pennsylvania: Do you study your opponets weaknesses while training for the fight? If so what are some of pavliks weaknesses that you have noticed?
Jermain Taylor: I never really watch tapes, but he gets hit a lot. So I would say his weakness is he is easy to hit.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chris (Appleton, WI): Did you have trouble making 160 lbs. for the first fight with Pavlik?
Jermain Taylor: I has a little trouble, but not too much. I ahd to do a little running. But it was not too hard.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kyle (Indianapolis): How important is it to you to make the Hall of Fame, which I believe you are capable of doing?
Jermain Taylor: It is not important to me at all. I did not grow up in boxing, so it is not important to me. What is most important to me is to win every fight by any means.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Matt (Wynnewood, PA): WHo is the best boxer you have ever faced?
Jermain Taylor: That is hard to say. everyone has their own little thing that they do that makes them unique whjen you fight them. Every opponent that I have fought was always very good, so I really cannot say. That is a hard question.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Josh-Indy: Jermain, how has the trainer switch changed things? Why do you think you and Manny didn't click?
Jermain Taylor: I would not say that we did not click, because we had a great relationship and we still do. It was just time for a change. Things just were not going right. I just figured I would take it back to how I used to do it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Matt (Wynnewood, PA): When did you start to box?
Jermain Taylor: I started boxing at the age of 12.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eric (Tampa, FL): Hey J.T. - you've had a bad tendancy of dropping your left arm during your fights and that was clearly exposed by K.P. Is that something you've been working on during your training?
Jermain Taylor: I have been working on a lot of different things, and I have been working on keeping that arm up, and I think it will show in the fight. In the first few rounds I keep the arm up well, but then, in the later rounds, it starts to drop. But I feel like I am in the best shape of my life and I feel like I will be able to keep the arm up for much longer as a result.
Jermain Taylor: To all my fans I am sorry I let you down last fight. But I am back on track now, and I promise you a different ending!
