    Various questions about different fighters...

    First question...
What do we know about Rydell Booker other than that he is undefeated. He is fighting that fat assed thug Toney on Thursday, (by the what time is that fight?)but I dont know anything about him.

Secondly, why is Toney fighting him? If he was any good, or (God Forbid) as good as he says he is, seems to me he would want to fight the best possible opponent that he could. Why spend all your time bashing all other heavyweights, even top names, if you aren't gonna show your sac and instead fight someone we dont know much about. Hell, fight one of the guys you have been making fun of.

Thirdly, Whats the story with David Tua? He's been inactive for a while, but has he retired or what? What is he doing now?

Fourth, what is Jirov doing now, does he have plans to fight again soon or does anyone know?

Fifth, now that Maskaev's fight with Danny Williams is off becuase of Klitschko, anyone know what he will be doing?

And lastly...When is the Golota-Ruiz fight and who will win? I pick Golota by KO, personally.

1-ia m with u i dont know who bookers is..but would laugh my ass off if toney gets ko'ed

2-toney needs some cinfidence before fighting any top guys (really i dont think he can beat VK)-and it was either booker or a large piece of chocolate cake...and someone got to the cake first so..thats why he's fighting booker

3-tua good q..i dont know...last i herd he was trying to come back but had some problems i dont know if weight or personal..if someone knows tell me!..plz

4-jirov wants a toney rematch and toney as said he will give it to him besides that..hell i dont know..i think jirov will wait for toney (its the best money around for him)

5-remember how i said someone got to the piece of cake before toney..it was maskaev..lol

6-i think ruiz is gonna win and pisses everyone off again

I think Toney (or his manager) wants to take safe fight after his serious injury. And with the win, he will became Vitali's mandatory. So he doesn't wanna risk anything. I remember Jirov saying that if he cant get top10 opponent, he wont fight anybody. Gotta respect that. I quess he is looking for that big fight.

          1) IMO Rydell Booker is horrible. He is the 74th ranked heavyweight according to Boxrec. He has fought no one, is yet another cruiserweight, and in his most recent fight he SD'd Tipton Walker who was 13-7 at the time but is now 13-9 after having lost to Booker and getting TKO'd by Hoffman. A lot of people are saying Booker is talented but lazy. I don't see how this could be true seeing how poorly he handles poor quality opponents like Walker.

          2) Fighting someone of Booker's quality and the fact that Toney still hasn't fought a natural heavyweight tells me that he isn't as confident in his chin as most of his fans are and that he isn't as confident in his own ability to win at HW as his mouth would lead you to believe. Who knows he may really only in it for a huge payday with Vitali. I don't that think that Toney should be fighting a top contender coming off an injury, but it would have been ok with me had he fought a top 40 fighter. After seeing how bad Brewster looked against a fighter who wasn't even in the top 100, I think Toney should go after Brewster next (he is the #1 WBO contender) and get the WBO belt which would make his payday with Vitali Klitschko or another belt holder even bigger.

          3) I thought Tua had problems with management, other than that I am clueless as to what's going on with him.

          4) Don't know.

          5) Besides calling out VK, I don't know.

          6) November 13th. I don't see Golota winning unless he knocks him out early. If it goes late I don't see how Golota doesn't self destruct and start throwing low blows. Even if he doesn't though, Ruiz is such a good actor that all Golota has to do is throw a bodyshot and Ruiz will be on the mat complaining about low blows.

golota could not hurt byrd, so i doubt he'll hurt ruiz. should be a boring fight with a close decision that could go either way.

At the little press conference they had about the fight Toney was starting to talk his usual talk when Booker was at the mic but when Booker told everyone Toney was from Ann Harbor and not from Detroit Toney just starting going crazy. That was kind of funny. Then Toney was outside telling everyone he isn't going anywhere without Booker coming to him like a man and that he was going to his car to get his gun to shoot Booker. Booker was outside saying that Toney didn't start doing anything until Dan Goosen started holding him back.
