Gomez would get knocked out after being beaten badly. I dont like Cotto, but I will after he beats the piss out of Gomez. It will make up for Gomez making his name off of beating up on an old, smaller Gatti, but still acting like he was the **** for doing it.

Gomez is a great story and this will be like Rocky I if Gomez can even hang with Cotto.

I think Gomez has good hand skills but unfortunatly doesn't have the power to contend with Cotto. I think if he had good power, with Cotto's suspect chin, he might have at least a slim chance. Cotto is much to strong and big for Gomez, but I like the kid's heart though.

gomez has that mass appeal, an average guy's guy.

i hope gomez puts up a great fight and doesn't go quietly.
Ok, I'm gonna make a prediction. I say that, come fight night, you'll be rooting for Cotto 100%. How do I know? I'm just good like that.

I think Gomez is underestimated a bit, due in part to his record. Although, his biggest win is over an overweight, old, and over the hill Gatti. I guess his Manfredo win isn't bad on his resume, but it was a 5 round fight and I thought Manfredo definitely won one round, even though I gave him two rounds in that fight (making it close). I think Manfredo would've pulled it off in a 10 rounder, as he was just learning to deal with Gomez (as proved by his win the second time around, after he adapted to Gomez).

Cotto wins this fight by UD. I don't think he'll get KO'd as he's fought at higher weights and taken those punches, but Cotto will put a beating on him.
