My mom hits harder than Paulie Malignaggi

We all know he's light on his shoes, but is he also light in his loafers? I would like to see him fight Hatton. Uncle Paulie is definatley a character. Can't decide if I like the guy or not.

He probably would, we all know that Mayweather has had hand problems his whole career almost and Mayweather was able to ko Hatton. I felt as though Mayweather felt surprised even though he ko'd the smaller hatton... Mayweather isn't a ko artist and from what I've heard has weak hands like Calzaghe is some ways. Thats why its always a dumb thing when ppl think Calzaghe will beat someone by ko, he might get lucky kind of like Mayweather. But from what I've heard Mayweather/Calzaghe both have broken hands, probably comes from punching the bag a million times...

Can you imagine what would have happened to Lacy/Kessler if Calzaghes hands weren't so broken... hmmm... Probably ko'd. Hell, Kessler was almost knocked on his ass in the fight.

          .
Yeah, it's the same with Paulie. His hand is so busted, he had that surgery and he's got like screws and **** inside it, no wonder why he's not knocking people out.
Paulie is still the man though.

            Paulie

Paulie needs to have a reality show. Maybe its b/c I'm from the Midwest but it cracks me up to hear the guys talk. His mannerisms are funny too. I've only seen him fight live twice and highlights, but he seems like a very good technical boxer. Hatton isn't trying to make Witter rich with his 'global' popularity from the floyd fight so why not come back to the states and fight Uncle Paulie.

ok lets look at this objectively for a second. ricky hatton at 140 is still a serious force and a fight with malignaggi would play out similar to his fight with cotto. he wouldn't have enough to keep ricky off him and it would end up being a beating imo

as for his power issues. well his technique is good so it must be his hands, plus he never plants his feet and looks for a knockout. most probably his brittle hands but could be a confidence issue as well

I don't know how it would be the same. Ricky Hatton has a crappy jab, and I personally don't think Ricky is as strong as Cotto. Cotto is so much better then Hatton. Just look at there resumes, Cotto fought tougher competition through out his career.

i disagree. ricky is stronger at 140 then cotto was when he fought paulie. he was seriously weight drained. at 140 ricky has a better chin then cotto and its his comfort zone. by no means am i a hatton lover and i recognise his limitations, however i think he'd bully paulie who just wouldn't be able to keep hatton off. if you cant discourage ricky at 140 then forget about it. plus paulie is no mayweather.

so what if he's not a hard hitter? look at floyd. he's a living proof that skills, speed, defense, and ring intelligence beat power. being a ko artist is one thing but hitting your opponent is another. paulie may not be as great as floyd but i think he'd beat hatton by a close decision.
