    Bernard Hopkins To Use McEwan Against Calzaghe

    Bernard Hopkins, recognized as the light heavyweight champion, has made quite an offer to young middleweight prospect Craig McEwan (9-0, 6KOs). If McEwan agrees to become Hopkins' sparring partner, he will land a guaranteed spot on the undercard to Hopkins's anticipated clash with super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe, scheduled for April 19 in Las Vegas.       wow never heard of him. Is Hopkins bringing him over because he is White and from England (Scotland) ?

          Good Move By BHOP, MCEwan is a tall young talented SouthPaw. He style is somewhat similar to Calzaghe. Easy to get him to spar to, since I heard this McEwan is signed to Golden Boy, supposidly.

                          No But I think he will soon. I just heard of him passingly winning a bunch of torny's in diff parts of Europe & then getting signed to Golden Boy after a few of his first pro fights. Still young, but southpaw, tall, and fresh enough to give BHOP some good workouts.
