I just rewatched it. An amazing fight but they gave the wrong guy the decision. I had it 115-112 for Barrera and I still don't know how they gave it to Morales after a 10-8 round for Barrera in the 12th.

It's ashame great fights have to leave fans with a bad taste in there mouth because of robberies.

This fight is not nearly as one-sided as you think... I scored it for Barrera (although I watched it a while ago)... but a lot of people actually did score it for Morales.

I had Barrera winning too, close fight but the 10-8 round should have secured it for him.

I think i remember Marco saying that after the fight, Erik walked into his locker room and gave him something and told him that he (barrera) really won the fight. anyone know more about that, or where i heard it, it had to have been on a Countdown or something.

haha i bet, Erik Morales is one of my all time favorites just cuz stuff like that, hes 100% passion and doesnt play about anything. would you happen to have a link to that? oh and do you remember where the original story (marco's) came from?

It was a Spanish newspaper by the way... I don't remember what thread Hyp posted it in, but it was in the last 24 hours I think.

The Barrera story about it was from the Countdown to Marquez vs. Barrera... it may be in other places too, but that is where I heard it.

Yeah good fight that one. Barrera should have won that one. But Barrera won the next one when i thought Morales won that one.

I had the first one Barrera, the second to Morales and the third to Barrera. The judges only got the third one correct IMO.
