Kermit Cintron: "This Time it Will Be Different"

IBF welterweight champion Kermit Cintron promises to avenge his crushing loss in 2005 to Antonio Margarito. That night, Margarito put him away in five-rounds. On April 12 at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, almost three-years later, Cintron will get the chance to reverse the only loss of his career. [details]

As far as talent goes these two are close, maybe even an edge for Cintron. Psychologically, it's a whole different story. If Cintron wins he will have proven a lot. But if he loses there will be nowhere for him to go at welterweight anymore. That is a whole lot of pressure on someone who may not handle it very well. Margarito just likes to fight and has no reason not to be confident.

Nice too know there wont be excuses this time! Since he lost all he can do is come up to an excuse as to why! I still think its a ***** move backing out of the pw fight with a fake injury then agrees to a fight with marg two months later. Hopefully he doesnt cry this time around that **** was so ****en pathetic....man up!

Yer I lost alot of respect for Cintron after that prima dona reaction in the Feliciano fight, no to mention the performance of Cintron that night. Additionally I have got to give a big psychological edge to Marg, should be a good scrap wouldn't be suprise if it didnt go the full 12.

Margarito won't be any easier to hurt than he was the first time.

He was really never a good opponent for someone like Cintron.

This might just be completely ****ing ******.

It will be different, he will cry like a little boy this time instead of a little girl.

Noone thought Jesse would have a chance against you because you were overrated Cintron. However let's see how you fair against your conquerer.

he could still fight the winner of williams and quintana and pick that belt up if he loses to margarito again
