Whos more talented? Chambers or Povetkin?

This is a question that sticked with me after last weeks fight, to me it looked like Chambers was the better fighter all around but he decided to throw it away, on the other hand I respect Povetkin high workrate and detertimanation, but i know when it comes to heart Povetkin has it it. But who has the superior talent?

Chambers showed the superior natural skill. Povetkin showed the superior will.

thats exactly what i said, plus i though if chambers went to cruiserweight and got his mind right he would be a force to be reckoned with

If you watch Povetkin's other fights, you'll notice he wasn't 100% on Saturday. Last week, it was reported that he had the flu - Povetkin and his management were considering postponing the fight. He said after the fight, he will never fight again when he's sick.

Povetkin is more talented. Watch his fights with Larry Donald and Friday Ahunanya on google video, and his fight with Cammarelle in the Olympics. And despite having the flu, he was able to defeat Chambers.

I did see his fight with Byrd and it looks like his workrate is his major advantage but I dont think he would last very long with a guy like Klitchsko

It was very clear that Eddie was far more physically gifted if you look at that and nothing else. However, Povetkin may have a Cotto-esque will that will break his opponents late. Byrd's corner just threw in the towel and Chambers pretty much did as all he did was stay in a guard. Talent is only part of the equation, and there are more talents than purely physical ones anyway.

i agree with you on all that, look at chavez he wasnt the best talented boxer ever or for that matter the most talented mexican but the fact is they just go into the ring to get the job done and at the end of the day thats what matters more

A great example would be Zab Judah and Carlos Baldomir. Zab in much, much, much ............. more talented than Baldy in every possible aspect except perhaps chin.
