I think Ruiz can out hustle Maskaev for an incredibly boring UD, maybe even Peter, if Peter has a bad night.

I'm hoping McCline knocks Ruiz out. Boxing is better off with the "Hugman" and his ugly fighting style out of the picture.

Who wants to see Matt Skelton vs John Ruiz?

Ruiz will be fine if he lasts the first six rounds when McCline is dangerous. Ruiz's jab - right, head down, bullrush & clinch style might get him in trouble with McCline who has a devastating uppercut.

Ruiz is very hard to finish though unless you knock him out cold so I see him lasting those first six rounds with McCline even if he gets knocked down once or twice (like against Golota).
Ruiz will then outpoint a gassed McCline who once again fails to beat a top fighter because of his crappy conditioning.

Ruiz takes this one by a decision.
