Morales Backs Pacquiao, Barrera Picks Marquez

They were bitter career rivals during their pro careers, and they continue to disagree in retirement. Marco Antonio Barrera and Erik Morales, two of the most famous Mexican fighters in the history of the sport have split views on the winner of the upcoming March 15 rematch between Manny Pacquiao and Erik Morales. The two Mexican fighters staged one of greatest trilogies in the sport. Both are rumored to return to the ring after short retirements from the ring. [details]

Neither Morales nor Barrera's opinion have some impact on the fight. Morales and Pacman became friends after their trilogy, and the two appeared in a beer commercial in the Philippines months back. Barrera does not, and may still hold some grudges against his greatest tormentor, Pacquiao. If you believe either Morales or Barrera, then Pacquiao should prevail because Barrera once said that only Valero can beat Pacquiao. BOth erik and marco are right, it will be Pacquiao on points or KO.

I think the punch after the break (or maybe it was a headbutt... I don't remember)... anyways, the intentional foul by Barrera proves that he really doesn't like Pacquiao, because he was the only fighter in Barrera's career to embarrass him.

Barrera hates Pacquiao more than Morales coz he hasnt won against Manny. Morales on the other hand that despite his twin loss to Manny he has come to know the person to be humble and even extended friendship to him.

Marco backs eric against pac 3 times and he will any mexican fighter against pac publicly. That's marco for you but at the back of his head he always knows that pac will have a better chance of winning this one than his paisan.
