i cant believe people STILL think this. I highly doubt u've seen the Taylor fight if you actually still believe that.

He outbrawled a brawler in MIRANDA. And he outboxed a boxer in Taylor. Thats an all around fighter for ya.

Hes got very good defense, but like Kellerman says, he has some major lapses that cost him. He is very sound technically. He has very good power and somewhat decent handspeed. He can box and he can brawl. He has a very bright future

Compared to Duddy, Pavlik is Willie Pep.

Yea but Duddy lets his hands go more and has better stamina it appears.

Duddy is slower and doesnt hit as hard as Taylor, but he'll be throwing more combinations and more punches all together

That was before Duddy got his new trainer. His punches are more accurate and a bit sharper now.

His defense is also a bit better, but not nearly enough to make a difference against PAVLIK.

I would have to disagree, he in no way outboxed Taylor, he used his 1-2 to knock him out which will be a problem for anybody its not a knock on him in my eyes. Taylor was way ahead in that fight though so to say Taylor was being outboxed is simply not true.

I know the judges had Taylor ahead by large margins before the KO, but I saw the fight a lot closer than that. Plus I felt like Pavlik was using his jab way better than Taylor was and was technically better. Taylor is just a tremendous athlete and moves better than Pavlik, but I don't think he was totally outboxing Pavlik.

As for the Duddy fight he's definitely a tough SOB which I think will make for a exciting fight in a one sided way, but I don't think he can really compete with the MW champ.

Even Taylor thought he was losing when they interviewed him. It was close though. I think i had Pavlik up a point b4 the knockout.

Duddy will give Pavlik a fight, but i see it going the way his fight with Bronco did.

Well being as hit as hard as he was. Maybe he was losing in his mind because he felt pavliks power, but Taylor may have been winning by points but just been feeling the pain. It probably is hard to keep track of punch stats when your in a fight. Close fighttttt

Watch the second round. If Jermain Taylor was in shape and more of a go getter, he would've stopped him. (Also if there wasn't excessive holding). Kelly isn't good at fighting backwards.

                      haha
Taylor wasnt in shape?! It was ONLY round 2! All Taylor does is train since he is a fighter for a living, so Id think hed be able to go all out for at least 2 rounds..
