Povetkin is the overall winer of the fight. He fought hard and deserves the win, but round for round, I scored the fight a draw, which is why I am for a weighted scoring system where the later round count more than the early rounds.

That would be unfair.

I was impressed with Povetkins heart and determination, but he has a huge skill deficit to fights such as Wlad and even Chambers.

Hopefully Chambers takes this win in stride, and makes some adjustments. He lost this fight because of what he didn't do, not what he couldn't do.

Chambers 197 of 398 = 49%

Chambers is a very accurate counter-puncher, and I have a feeling that he will learn from this loss, come into his next fight in better condition, and start throwing more punches.

I think I figured out why all of McGirts fighters lose. I saw him steal Chambers confidence.

His confidence was allowing him to counter effectively, as soon as McGirt took that from him, he stopped countering.

The current system is not flawless but at least every round is equal. Under your system you could end up punishing a fighter who has tried to attack from the start.

The look on Chamber's and his corners faces told the whole story at the end of the fight. A generous score for Chambers would be 8-4.
