he doesn't I just named him because people are quick to **** on Tito for supposedly getting a gift decision against Oscar when just a few fights before Oscar had the SAME exact kind of win and nobody talks about it, I don't think it's fair that just because Oscar and Tito's name are in the subject title that it's okay for people to take cheap shots at Tito and just act like Oscar was robbed because a few fights before that HE did the robbing, this thread is about a rematch not about who robbed or who or who won or lost the first fight so for people to take that cheap shot ain't right when if anything he got a taste of his own medicine, I don't condone selective criticism and I just spoke my piece on it.
that being said, not EVERY fighter is better off fighting that way, you got some guys who pick and choose their times to punch like Floyd who wont just throw punches, a guy who is so gifted and skilled with speed and decent power that he can just counter you and just fight defensively, Trinidad is the opposite, he is an offensive fighter, he isn't as skillfully gifted to be pop shotting and winning easy fights, he has to apply more effort to win but he does more damage when he is successful in his approach.
it's never too late for a fighter who's lacing gloves up especially one who is still 35 and did respectively well for someone who was out for almost 3 years, in a weight where he's never been at and up against a legend of our time who still has enough left to **** a ***** up, even with all those disadvantages he was still able to get back up and shake off a temple shot from someone who rocked a Heavyweight and he also got the better of the first few rounds by letting his hands go, that doesn't sound like a hopeless fighter to me it's just due to his lack of versatility he is sometimes an easy target for those who know how to confuse or defend from an opponent, simple as that..
Trinidad can very well switch up though and do well he just has to study the tapes and now that the ring rust is off he can do better in his next fight.. dude is a legend who only fought the best, only 3 losses (to legends BTW) in 45 fights with 35 KO's yo I think he deserves a better benefit of the doubt than what you giving him here.
