    Cotto v Mosley Review

Cotto v Mosley Review ,ive just watched Mosley v Cotto again & what a good fight it was Cotto fought very intelligently IMO , however i did'nt like him backing up for the last 3/4 rounds ,Shane Mosely is a Warrior man he drove himself on u could see he was tired & for a 36 year old he put on a a hell of a display i thought Cotto won but IMO Mosley did'nt help his himself by leaving his hands & getting clipped with clean shots ,Mosely was landing good shots but Cotto was tucking up better than Molsey , if Shane had tightened up his defence he would have had a share of more of the rounds its just it looked worse for him because Cotto was landing clean punches because of Mosleys lack of defence or inhability to slip the punches with his hands down due to his age his reaction have slowed down

To me the Cotto/Mosley fight showed me that Shane would have beaten him and possibly knocked him out when he was younger. Just like the Floyd/DLH fight showed me that a younger, faster, more durable DLH would have at least won a decision vs any version of Floyd.

I like Cotto and I think he's a good fighter and I like his aggressive style and complete offence, but I didn't like the way he tried to coast the last few rounds and actually sprinted when he heard the 10 sec buzzer for the final round. I think he will continue to improve and his chin seems to be better at WW, plus he knows how to stall until he gets his legs back if wobbled.

i agree i think Shane in his prime would be to quick & strong for Cotto ,Cotto would'nt have competed with Shane for hand speed back then no way,Cotto looked slightly stunned by one right hand from Shane IMO not badly stunned but the referee decided it was good time for an intervention for some ****** reason ,to wipe away some water in the corner

i dont think Cotto has erased the question marks about his chin to me the one thing that has changed with him is he fights with his chin down more now since the Torres fight so it is hard to catch him clean on the jaw ,i have a feeling sooner or later he will get hurt again regardless

Yeah you noticed that extra break from the referee too did you? What made it even more funny to me was a few rounds later, Mosley slips on his a$$, but the ref doesn't bother to wipe up that water. Anyway, I think Cintron or Margarito, maybe even DLH might be able to get to Cotto's chin, but I think it's strong enough to withstand Floyd ,Williams, Collazo, or the rest, maybe Clottey might stun him.

yeah Mosley went down quite heavy aswell & the referee just said box on ,i agree someone will definetly get to Cotto chin again IMO i think Margarito could be the one he would be able to stand & trade effectively on the inside with Cotto & Margarito has a dig

          Cotto would'nt bully Margarito IMO

I'm trying not to nuthug since i'm a pbf fan but you do agree Floyd is the most accurate puncher alive dont you? DLH should retire, Floyd, one more and retire too or boxing will retire you. Don't ever come to think you will have sucess as Oscar has had in the same ways.. Oscar could risk it all, comeback after 4 years and make 50mill in a fight, Floyd can't. Citron, Williams, Cotto are the near future although i think Cotto will lose to Margarito if they fight.
