I was wrong, but none of you kids were there, so please refrain from arguments like "I knew Lacy ****** back then". No you did not, Lacy showed good talent and he was certainly tenacious strong offensice fighter.
Or perhaps you tend to favor the puncher? Might you be giving Haye the same treatment?

How did I know that you picked Lacy? Might you be showing a clear bias towards a puncher, and showing a pattern for neglecting the pure skill and athleticism of a fighter like Roy?

What about Haye's stamina issues? What would happen once Haye starts to hit nothing but air. Or when Roy is frustrating him and pop shotting him.

Roy is one of the smartest fighters of all time.

You dont win an olympic silver medal because of a lack of technique you fool.

      holy ****...

For Haye to start losing steam he would have to be pressured more and I don't see Roy doing more then having an occasional potshot and then hanging by the ropes and relying on his reflexes.

Haye's best chance is to bomb Jones out early because at Cruiserweight, Haye has to drain himself to make weight, I believe that the Jones that fought Ruiz could have weathered that storm and make Haye tired, once Haye gets tired, Jones will keep the fight at the center of the ring with jabs and straight right hands and win a decision. The Jones of today would get KO'd in 4.

I mean seriously, Haye is much quicker than John Ruiz and has more power, A heavyweight fighting at cruiserweight...Ruiz was the worst champ ever to hold a title.

Ruiz still connected didn't he? Imagine Haye connecting a hayemaker, and haye has a better chance of connecting punches than Ruiz did because Haye is very fast and has power in his punches.

No, but you said Ruiz caught Roy. Why didn't Roy wobble? Why didn't Roy go down? Why didn't Roy get knocked out?

The answer is simple. John Ruiz did not catch Roy Jones Jr.

Brooklyn, this fight doesn't come down to technique bro.

              Alot of fights dont actually.

              This one is the same.

You have a former silver medalist (well...gold), 4 weight champion vs. a fighter who has fought his entire career at british level and just finally moved up to world level.

I'm a man of accomplishments. Roy has shown me more then David ever will.

And Roy would most certainly adapt because he is a great fighter and one of the best fighters of the past 10-15 years.

Maybe not in a classic boxing sense, but he was for sure a very smart fighter.

And brooklyn, you forget to mention that Haye drops his left hand.

That's disaster for a fighter with the type of one punch speed that Roy has.

Man Roy would of whipped David all over the ring.

What is with your fixation with Roy lying against the ropes? Do you have some sort of memory problem? Did you watch the Ruiz fight? Did you see how Roy laid on the ropes for all of 30 seconds the whole fight?

Then you are obviously have not looked through my pics.

For example, in the latest Chambers/povetkin bout I was picking Chambers(who barely anyone gave a chance to even survive the fight) to UD povetkin due to his superior boxing skill. I was picking Abraham to beat Miranda and I was picking Hopkins twice against Taylor and also against Tarver.

Picked Winky against Trinidad as well.

So, I do not prefer punchers, I usually go with fighters(not always right) when I think that have some quality that other people overlook that will be crucial in the fight.
