    Kingvision question?

Is it a sub-branch of Showtime?

I am watching my copy of Castro-Jackson (1994 FOTY), and it has Bobby (however you spell his last name... Chyz?), the younger of the two guys who does it now, and someone else. In other words, the Showtime regular announcers at the time.

But at the beginning of every round, it has the Kingvision symbol when it shows what round is beginning.

I was just curious, because I saw that they had a bunch of Mayorga fights in Kingvision in the past, when he was still a Showtime fighter...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think it's when Don King broadcasts his own fights. Like Bob Arum does sometimes when you only see the Top Rank logo.

    His name is Czyz.

      Yeah, Bobby Czyz. He sucks.

Anyways, so why do you think it had Showtime announcers then?

Do you think it might have been a deal between the two?

When Arum and Top Rank did Diaz-Morales, HBO did the build up and stuff, but they didn't have HBO announcers to actually commentate on the fight.

I think Kingvison was in partnership with Showtime. But it was its own brand. I do know its hard to find Kingvison cards.

Lol, I should have just shot you a PM, I didn't connect it that Mayorga had a million fights on Kingvision and that you are a Mayorga fan, even though I mentioned both in the last 10 minutes.

This is a DAMN good fight by the way. Whoever said that it was a boxing clinic for Jackson is insane... Castro was doing some damn good work in the early and middle rounds.

They probably have a deal in place to let Showtime announcers call Kingvision fights.

                Lol, what a ****ing *******.

Anyways, I have seen copies of Mayorga-Spinks and Mayorga-Piccirillo in Kingvision on eMule. I also think I saw a copy of Mayorga-Lewis (the 2nd one I think) from Kingvision, but I'm not sure where I saw the Lewis one.

Thats another thing that makes is hard. The Spinks and Piccirillo fights were PPV. While the Lewis fight was on Showtime. Anyway im trying to find them myself again. I have all his fights on VHS. I want them on a clean DVD copy.

Yeah, I mean... if you want a computer copy, get the program eMule, it's P2P program, but it is damn good for finding most fights. It takes a while to DL them, because you have to wait in line to DL from a source, and you can only download a 10MB chunk at a time usually. Whatever, it is still better than bothering people to upload easy ass fights to find, like De La Hoya-Trinidad.

But yeah, eMule has 10 Mayorga fights or so.
