Haye is in for a hard night!!

JOE CALZAGHE reckons David Haye faces the fight of his life against Enzo Maccarinelli.

Cruiserweight champions Haye and Maccarinelli meet at London's O2 Arena on March 8 in what promises to be a British classic.

And Calzaghe believes his stablemate will prove the bookies wrong by beating the confident Londoner.

The undisputed super-middleweight champ said: "I'm feeling sorry for David Haye.

"I think he's going to be in a lot of trouble. Enzo's looking amazingly strong and powerful — and he's got speed as well."

Under the watchful eye of his father and trainer Enzo, Calzaghe will spar with Maccarinelli as he prepares for an April showdown with Bernard Hopkins in Las Vegas.

But the Welshman admits he would never mix it up with his fellow countryman.

Calzaghe, 35, added: "I've just got back in the gym so I'm not going to get back into the ring with him straight away.

"We have entertaining sparring but he doesn't go to knock me out and vica versa. We never go to war — we spar for speed.

"It's the same when I spar with light-middleweights. You spar for speed, timing and movement."

Its potentially a stormer, they are both famous for their punch power, especially Haye, plus neither has what you would call a 'cast iron chin'. Happy could be right on this one, the only thing against it is that it could be over quicker than a gunfight if they both tear into it from the first bell!!

Funny thing is the complete lack of trash talking, they are actually mates!!! But I'm sure that will be forgotten once they are throught the ropes
