I think a 24/7 would be a good way to go. If you operate under the premise that Joe will fight no more than twice after this one and that the next two may be PPV, his marketing men should want to get him known to as many of the fight buying sector as possible. That all sounds kind of simple, but it is a gamble, even if you back him to win comfortably and that is the Hopkins factor - Joe could be made to look unentertaining if he wants to win it.

Just as no one should disrespect Joe's reign despite the odd journeyman, Joe's fan should not disrespect Bernard's and one thing is for sure, Bernard ain't going down without a fight and he doesn't care if the fight is uglier than his ninety year old aunt to do so. I think Joe can win 'in the trenches' but will this ultimately damage future ppv subs if we get a 'Bika' type match?

On the bright side, his next fight (if successful against b-hop) will be against a top marque American probably Pavlik or Taylor, who should bring enough of their fans to ppv.

    Everyone asleep yet!!!

The writer is spot on when it comes to his analysis. Cal won't have a high workrate because B-hop will clinch whenever he needs to, hit on the hips, a headbutt every now and than. It will be ugly but Cal has more left in the tank than B-Hop and he should come out victorious.

Calzaghe is smart as a whip. He'll win the verbal war (as he proved on the PBF-RH weigh in) and then he'll win the boring fight that will ensue.

If you thought Calzaghe won that verbal war you don't know very much about smack talk.

Don't get it twisted!!!! De La Hoya had speed, Trinidad had speed, but Hopkins made them fight his fight!!! It's not going to be an easy night of work for Calzaghe..Hopkins is a VET and he knows what it takes to win. I'm just saying don't sleep on B-Hop!!!

I'm glad more than one person on this earth knows that a 24/7 for this fight would be HUGE. They may not do it considering it's a non-PPV fight, but honestly, this fight having a 24/7 would probably be better even than it's two predecessors.

Calzaghe didn't know what to say. B-hop smoked his ass. What an idiot brings up Kessler lol. It's about time Calzaghe has the balls to try and fight a "real" fighter. I remember I heard some idiot on here saying calzaghe has more power than B-hop thats funny. He's the biggest powder puff puncher Iv'e ever seen. You can see he doesn't even close his fists or keep his wrists straight half the time. Now Im not saying B-hop is a power puncher by any means but when he hits you its a punch that's right on the button and has everything behind it. More power Lol.

To all the people talking about a 24/7 for this fight. Pleeease. The only time 24/7 has ever happened is when someones fighting Floyd. The P4P King made 24/7 a hit show. This fight is not even a PPV.
