Why didn't Calzaghe ever fight Roy Jones Jr.

Was the location of the fight a point of controversy?

He's doing his duties as an annoying alt....it's working on you.

I know the answer to this one.......Because Roy didn't wanna get whooped by a whiteboy.

Apperantly, there was too much to lose and little to gain for Roy. This was his reasoning.

Don't worry. This fight may still happen this fall after Cal beats Hopkins.

Calzaghe was too chicken to go to America, saying he was already a world champion.

Roy even says, he had everything to lose and nothing to gain. Back then no one in America knew how good Calz was. So if Roy beats him, we say it was another routine win against a picked opponent. If Roy by chance loses, we say our best fighter loses to someone we hardly knew.

So you can't blame Roy for not chancing it with a guy his public, the ones who paid for his fights, didn't recognize for the threat we now realize he would have been.

Eubank never said Jones was ducking him.

And you know Benn went out there, don't you?
